In our last survey, you confirmed that:

• Finding a contractor is Difficult!
• That having bids on Home reports would be incredibly valuable.
• You are spending an average of 9.5 hours (on each transaction) getting bids from contractors.

(How much is your time worth? $20.00 per hour? $100.00 per hour? Wouldn't you rather be getting new listings or working with more buyers than wasting all that time?)

• That you are hiring termite inspection companies that perform corrective work because it is "easier".

(Inspection companies that perform corrective work make their money from performing repairs NOT performing inspections. Their inspectors are paid bonuses for all of the work they can sell your client. This is a terrible conflict of interest that lends itself to incredible abuses. Wouldn't you prefer having your client's home inspected by a non-biased inspection company that doesn't have a vested interest in their findings and/or corrective recommendations?)

NBI is in the process of developing a method whereby you will be able to receive actual hard BIDS from competing contractors to perform corrective work on the properties we inspect. Developing this technology is very expensive and time consuming. We need further input from you to determine whether it is worthy of that type of investment.

Our proposed concept would take our inspector an additional 30 minutes to 2 hours per inspection depending upon the amount of damage and/or problems found on the property. Obviously, we would need to be compensated for this added time.
